The Company Policies of Kontor 17 MPM GmbH are clearly defined to cover the following areas which are valid for all employees a shore and at sea:

Health and Safety

It is our policy that all operations are executed at all times by trained and competent personnel in such a way as to ensure, so far as it is reasonably practicable, the health, safety and welfare of all employees and all persons who may be affected by the operations of Kontor 17 MPM GmbH.

Quality

The Quality System of Kontor 17 MPM GmbH is based on the requirements of the ISM Code, and includes a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives. Our quality management system will provide mechanisms for detecting system shortfalls and for stimulating process improvements.

Environmental

Kontor 17 MPM GmbH is committed to conduct their business activities in an environmental responsible manner, which is free from recongnized hazards in order to preserve and protect environment for future generations, whose quality of life tomorrow relies on our responsibility today.

Social Media

Kontor 17 MPM GmbH respects the desire of all its employees to use social media. Information published on social media is now almost always considered to be public information. In order to understand the consequences of the misuse of social media we designed guidelines to outline our philosophy towards employee use of social media.

Anti Discrimination and Harassment

The employer will not discriminate and will take “affirmative action” measures to ensure against discrimination in employment, recruitment, advertisements for employment, compensation, termination, upgrading, promotions, and other conditions of employment against any employee or job applicant on the bases of race, creed, color, national origin, or sex.

Drugs and Alcohol

Kontor 17 MPM GmbH implement a strict policy on board of all vessels. International rules and regulations to avoid use and smuggling of illegal drugs and alcohol have to be followed strictly and without fail. Any offence to this regulation will be prosecuted by internal and legal consequences without grace.
